Rodís’ Paper Mill

 

The paper mill in Rodís (Lalín) was probably built before 1850. There worked in construction Juan Cendón, who had also participated in another paper factories built in Lavandeira (1838) and Bouteiro (1843).

Manuel Fernández Cota was the owner between 1883 and 1888. Rodís’ factory was not recorded at 1900 anuary yet.

I would like to thank the current owner, Mr David Fernández, the attention he paid me in a recent visit after the footprints of our industrial heritage. Soon I will complete with his data the file that I will add to our Inventory.
