International Congress on Socialization of Heritage in the Rural Environment (SOPA2024)
This year’s International Congress on Socialization of Heritage in the Rural Environment (SOPA) will take place from September 2 to 8 in the rural areas of the Province of Ourense, in the Southern Mountain Range of Galicia, a territory declared by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve, which includes the municipalities of Os Blancos, Baltar, Calvos de Randín and Muíños. The congress is held with the aim of exploring new ways of approaching the heritage-community relationship, sharing collective memories and promoting the exchange between diverse knowledge and processes of knowledge construction.
